Jerry is a founding member and principal of Freedom Tax & Business Services, LLC and Freedom Financial Services, LLC.

Prior to founding Freedom Tax & Financial Services, Jerry owned his own accounting and financial services firm, Style Associates, Ltd., for almost 20 years. Before establishing his own professional practice, Jerry worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 7 years.

Jerry received a B.B.A. in Public Accounting at Hofstra University. He is an enrolled Agent, certified to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, a Certified Financial Planner, as well as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Jerry holds series 6, 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses and holds a New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance license.

Bob is also a founding member and principal of Freedom Tax & Business Services, LLC and Freedom Financial Services, LLC. Prior to merging his practice with with Jerry, Bob owned his own tax and accounting business for 14 years. Before that, he worked for CPA firms on Long Island and served as Controller and Chief Fiscal Officer for Palm Beach Federal Savings Bank in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Bob has served as treasurer of the Miller Place Fire District since 1990 and has taught accounting and business courses at both Dowling College and Suffolk Community College.

Bob received a B.B.A. in Public Accounting and an M.B.A. in Management Science from Hofstra University. He is a Certified Public Accountant/Personal Financial Specialist, as well as a Certified Financial Planner. He holds series 63, 6 and 7 securities licenses as well as New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance license.

Debbi has worked in the financial services industry for over 10 years, most of those years with Jerry. She holds a New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance license, as well as series 6 and 63 securities licenses. Debbi assists both Jerry and Bob with the financial services aspect of the business by speaking with clients and maintaining client accounts.

Augie has been an important member of the Freedom team since July 2001. He was formerly affiliated with a major regional tax preparation and financial services firm. For over 20 years, Augie has worked in the financial and tax preparation field, with an expertise in fixed annuities. He holds series 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses, as well as a New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance license.

Tom has been a part of the Freedom team since shortly after its inception. He has over 30 years experience in the life insurance field. Tom is the firm's specialist for long-term care, term life and whole life insurance products. He also offers auto, home, flood and commercial insurance. He holds series 7,6 and 63 securities licenses, as well as New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance and a Property and Casualty Insurance license.

Bruce has become another important member of our team, and yes, he is Jerry's big brother. After retiring with forty years of dedicated service at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Bruce joined us in June 2005. He has a B.S. in Accounting from Dowling College. He has series 6 & 63 security licenses, as well as a New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance License. Bruce specializes in personal finances (especially as they relate to retiring government employees) as well as tax return preparation.

Scott joined the Freedom Team in July of 2004. He holds degrees in both accounting and paralegal studies. He is a Certified Public Accountant, I.R.S. Enrolled Agent (E.A.) and has series 6 & 63 security licenses as well as a New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance License. Scott's experience prior to joining Freedom is in corporate finance where his positions included Accounting Manager for a worldwide logistics provider as well as controller for a major financial institution.

Bert began his public accounting career with the firm of Ernst & Young. He has managed his own accounting and financial planning practice for over twenty years, working with individual clients, small businesses and corporations. Bert is a NYS Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. He has an MBA in Finance and a Masters in Taxation. Bert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Conference of CPA Practitioners, and the Financial Planning Association of Long Island.

Jessica is an integral part of our team and is responsible for scheduling appointments, answering phones and serving as an administrative assistant to both Jerry and Bob. Jessica keeps the office running smoothly.

Michelle has been with Freedom Tax & Business Services, LLC since its inception in 1999. She is responsible for providing accounting services in the firm's business division and works directly with Bob in maintaining client accounts. Michelle has a B.A. in accounting from St. Joseph's College.

Terry has many years of experience in both the corporate and private sector. She works with Michelle in providing accounting and bookkeeping service's to the firm's business clients.

Joy also works with Michelle in providing accounting and bookkeeping services to the firm's business clients. Joy also teaches middle school students at West Sayville Christian School.

Angela has been working with Jerry for over ten years, and is an integral part of the Freedom team. She was responsible for designing our innovative D.O.T.S. system. Angela manages the tax season support staff and the processing of over 1000 individual tax returns.

Sheralee is our Client Service Manager, and is available to address your questions, suggestions or concerns. She also is in charge of all campaigns and promotions of our company and its many services, including our quarterly Freedom Flyer Newsletter. During our busy tax season, Sheralee works with Angela as support staff associate.

Dawn is working with both Angela and Sheralee as tax season support staff. Dawn is the wife of Scott Kaplan, one of our Registered Representatives.
